Long considered the #1 fighter in the world, Fedor “The Last Emperor” Emelianenko just says no to the UFC and signs a new contract to begin fighting w/ STRIKEFORCE!Z! The first fight is scheduled for this fall.

This is another black eye for the UFC, who has been unable to sign Fedor due to conflicting interests and an unwillingness from Fedor’s management team M1 Global to back down from Dan White and the UFC’s offers.

He says, ”UFC was the black spot in my career and in my life. I’m a man who dedicated his life to fighting sport. I just wanted to justify the trust that Dana White gave to me.” Now that he has quickly recovered from knee surgery, is he ready? Yahoo Sports recently posted their interview with the heavy hitting Croatian.

I know the Orlando Magic/LA Lakers game is tonight but it’s not the only big thing happening in Orlando tonight.
